Review store setup
Add a shipping policy
I already have a few observations in mind about your store. Is there a particular area you'd like me to focus on, like:
- Storefront appearance
- Product listings
- Shipping setup
- Payments and checkout
Or want me to jump straight into the review?
Activate a payment provider
Add a refund policy
Set inventory levels for all 8 products
Add a shipping policy
Consider adding an About page
Create product collections beyond the default homepage
The product range looks solid — eight active products with real images, descriptions, and sensible pricing for a Masonic apparel brand. The domain reads as legitimate and the store name is clean.
A couple of things need attention before buyers can actually check out, so I've put those at the top of the list above.
Start with the payment provider — without it, no orders can be processed. From there, the refund policy and inventory levels are quick wins that'll make the store feel trustworthy to first-time buyers.
Once those are sorted, I'm happy to do a deeper pass on the storefront itself. You're closer than you might think.
Without an active payment provider, buyers can browse but can't actually pay — so this is the one to tackle first. Shopify Payments is the simplest option for a UK store and keeps everything in one place (payouts, fraud tools, no third-party fees).
Once you've completed the setup there, let me know and I'll mark this done and we'll move to the next task.
Let me check the current payment setup for you.
Not quite — Shopify Payments still isn't activated. The page you're on is the right place to do it. You should see a button to complete the Shopify Payments setup — it'll ask for some business and banking details to get your account verified.
Once that's done, come back and let me know and I'll tick this off and we'll move on!
It's still showing as not fully activated on my end — Shopify Payments may still be pending verification. That's normal; sometimes it takes a little time for the account to be confirmed after you submit your details.
If you've filled everything in and submitted, you're good to move on and come back to this later. Shall I mark it as done and we'll crack on with the refund policy?
Payments ticked off — nice one! On to the refund policy. Shopify has a built-in generator that'll create one for you in seconds, so this is a quick win. Head here:
Click "Create from template" and it'll populate a solid starting policy you can customise. Let me know when it's saved!
Great, two down! Next up — inventory. All 8 of your products are currently showing 0 stock, which means buyers could hit issues at checkout. The quickest way to update them all is from the products list. Head here and update the quantity for each one:
For each product, open it and set the inventory quantity under the Inventory section. Let me know when you're done and we'll move on!
I can't update inventory directly, but I can take you to each product one at a time to make it quick. Do you know roughly how many units you have of each, or is it the same quantity across all 8 products?
Good point — if you're using print-on-demand, you don't need to worry about inventory at all! Most print-on-demand setups either manage stock automatically or you can simply set Shopify to "Don't track inventory" on each product, which means they'll always be available to buy.
You can mark this task as done then. Shall I tick it off and move on to the shipping policy?
You're already on the legal settings page, so this one's easy — you can add a shipping policy right here. Since you're print-on-demand, it's worth mentioning estimated production times (typically 2-5 business days) plus delivery times so buyers know what to expect.
Click "Create from template" in the Shipping Policy section on this page, then customise it to reflect your print-on-demand timelines. Let me know when it's saved!
I can't write directly into the policy field, but I can draft one for you to copy and paste in! Here's one tailored for a UK print-on-demand apparel store:
